I did. But he must have already gotten a ton of interest because he clearly hasn't had time to get back to me.How many have already reached out to him?

Green's background at UNI was the Pack Line D before coming to ISU.Otzelberger’s defenses at South Dakota St. and UNLV were not close to what Iowa State’s have been. Green seems to be the one most responsible.
Two coaching openings? You mentioned Tamin... the other goes to Niang!Guess we're gonna find out how bad Tamin's body really is.... looks like an excellent time to hire the Floor General that was the career steals guy as a defensive specialist coach. I'm sure he could be a great recruiter too. Who knows Ames better? Also an extra practice body.
Honestly, assistants moving directly to HC jobs is great. It means that we have a strong coach. This should really be a goal as much as it hurts...I have no issues with guys getting Head Coaching positions, Ill trust TJ to build his staff again....these guys aren't bailing for lateral moves...looks good when guys are moving up.

He knows the defense (Jacobson system) and can coach the bigs. If our bigs are 1/2-2/3 the player he was, we'll see no drop off
Iowa State defense is NOT the Jacobson system. UNI is mostly a pack line defense. Iowa State is no middle with far more pressure.
Would love to get Niang. He loves ISU and would be a good recruiter. Two coaching openings? You mentioned Tamin... the other goes to Niang!
Exactly. This is a natural by-product of being successful. Hello, this is what every successful collegiate program goes through all the time! TJ's coaching tree is growing!I have no issues with guys getting Head Coaching positions, Ill trust TJ to build his staff again....these guys aren't bailing for lateral moves...looks good when guys are moving up.
Also it's a good time to take over UNI as the program has done well enough to be relevant but expectations are not sky high. I'd guess the fan base will be very supportive of Kyle.Great for KG. Good time for him to take a shot. Hopefully people understand what a difficult job these mid-majors have become and are patient.
She'll have to dump her side piece now.Good for Kyle. I can't imagine being in the situation he was in with his wife in CF for so long.
I didn’t know Kyle’s wife was part of the Cyclone Fanatic (CF) community. Which poster was she?Good for Kyle. I can't imagine being in the situation he was in with his wife in CF for so long.
would the coach from brewster academy be one?Any ideas on replacements?
Having a former all-American big to mentor Pleta for the next few years isn’t a bad idea.Seth Tuttle
