roy hibbert averaged less than 6 points per game last year and started. The argument that rodman wouldn't start because of his offensive game is baseless.
Hibbert is a 7'2" man mountain with range to the free throw line and a silky passing game. Rodman doesn't look nearly as athletically freakish as he did back in his hey day. He's just another dude out there at this point.
I keep thinking what a tough time Cato would have with today's far superior athletes in Niang and McKay..I get what the young guys are saying..
I don't think the argument was that the older stars wouldn't be successful.. It was that their lower tier players wouldn't play over the current lower tier players. Like I said before, the bottom of the bench is a lot more athletic than it used to be.
