Watching a weather channel. They showed the storm tract that hit Highmore SD. It started in NW Kansas and ended up by Duluth Minnesota before it fell apart. Lots of high winds, several tornadoes .

it’s going to be in that 250-300% area. It will wreck the yields for a couple years. They do something like a 100/80/60/40 type deal for % yield cut over 4 years.

Talked to a guy who has one by Algona. He said they would rebuild at his place.

Didn't the 2020 Derecheo record 140 mph west of Cedar Rapids, or was that unofficial.

That was an unofficial estimate based off of damage to a radio tower.

The HVAC folks tell me the opposite. They tell me to make sure all registers throughout the house are clear and open.

We replaced the windows in each of our kid’s rooms this year. They do face the west and it has seemed to help a lot. Instead of a 60/70/80 spread from basement to the 2nd story I bet we are only at 75 on the 2nd now.

This is in an area with a reported 131MPH wind gust....to be verified by NWS.

Multiple towers down is surprising. I have seen a single one down N of 30 before south of Paton that one kinked of above the door way.
