Breaking Bad

Over/under on the body count for next week at 6? I'm thinking Walt, gray matter folks (2), Todd and his uncle, and maybe Jesse.

I continue to wonder if Walt's family survives.

It looks now like Walt has the initiative, so he'll hit the Nazis before they would hit him. That gets our Jesse resolution, too.
I still suspect that Gray Matter is the real distribution company. It's tough to think that a bunch of NM Nazis would be the biggest bad in all this.

How do you wrap this up in 75 minutes?

Really, they've wrapped up the house that they teased earlier. There's only three major story lines that need closure:
-Jesse, Todd, and Lydia
-Walter wife and the charges
-Where's the ricin going to end up

the Nazis didn't disrespect him other than take his money. he doesn't know what they've done to Jesse or skyler. grey matter disrepected him. he wants his money but he wants his ego more. gun is for Nazis, ricin is for the company founders, and he dies of cancer with his family getting nothing.

That's a good point about gray matter. The fact that they discussed the meth in Europe during that interview makes me think that there might be more than what's been brought up. But then again, only 75 minutes left.

The Nazis did disrespect him, at least in Walt's world. Nobody makes blue crystal meth but him. Nobody.

He knows that linkage to Europe. He can put two and two together. Walt definitely has to go after the Nazis just to shut them down.

How many times now has Walter completely gave up, only to have something appear to keep him going?

*Pilot when he is going to kill himself until the sirens drive past him
*Earlier when he surrenders to Hank until the Nazis save him
*Just now when he plans to surrender again until the Grey Matter people stomp on his ego

I'm sure there are more but these are just the ones that come to mind. Walter White is really only still going because of chance. He isn't some mastermind that is better than everyone and everything. He's lucky.

So the final episode..... Walt will get help from Saul to take down the Nazis. Jesse will yell out from his cage and Walt lets him out, but shoots him in the dome. Walt returns to town to turn himself in, because that's the only way to get Skylar off the hook. He takes the ricin right before going into custody. That gives him enough time to make his confession. And I'm sure he has thought of a way to make sure his family gets the money.

The only help I see Saul providing now is faking an inheritance for the family, but that's iffy since Junior doesn't want Dad's money.

I think people are right that Jesse takes out Todd. That's the grudge that needs resolved there, at least before the Walt/Jesse situation has its final answer.

I see this differently. I think her speech about how Walter White used to be a good and caring man impacted him also. I don't think he wants to kill those two or anything.

He was going to turn himself in until he saw them on television. They made it clear with that last scene that he is going to kill them.

That is not at all what I got from that last scene. I think you are interpreted far more directly than what may have been intended.

I was about to write a novel about how I interpreted it, but instead I will just say that I think she hit his ego hard and he simply wants to prove that he's still around and still alive.

But ultimately, he'll have to prove it to them directly. That's his ego at work.

On the teaser on Talking Bad Gilligan just stated said that the title of the last episode "Felina" is an anagram for finale, and only had one word to describe it... Wood working. Wow, I can't wait for this.
