They’re solid. If they get the wavier Prohm might have something.
I think that he DOES have something. It's not a perfect roster by any means...there's no real facilitator at PG unless Walker is ready to contribute. They lack a little in outside shooting. And, Bolton, Harris and Jackson are all a little undersized at guard. But, they have pretty good athleticism all the way around. There's some size and ability in the frontcourt and they're not likely to be pushed around there. I think that Bolton has some skill attacking, Jackson and Harris can hit outside shots, JCL and Hinson have experience and can get buckets. Who knows if the FR will be ready, but chances are at least one of them will be. And it sounds like Johnson is a pretty good player.
That's a decent mix of talent, experience and skill. If they get two waivers, which I would guess they will, I think that's a bubble team. And the next year they have everyone back minus Solo and JCL. It's on Prohm to get everyone to buy in and accept their roles...and then keep everyone happy enough that they stay through the offseason. I have my doubts on whether he can do it, but he's at least made the first step of putting together a decent roster....and one that won't completely fall apart if any single player goes down.
