All the negative recruiting news this transfer season. However, if you step back and look at the guys we got compared to the guys we lost. We upgraded big time. Good job Coach.

I'll take the trades we made 7 days a week. Last year was a diaper fire, but Prohm has shown he can get talent in the door. Hopefully, they come through this year and we're back in the tourney. I fear the new norm is several transfers and up/down cycles with all of the off season movement by players.

At least during the fall, it's nice out and you can ignore the abominations CPR had put out on the field, all praise Matt Campbell. However, in the Winter it's too damn cold and dark to do anything besides watch ISU get pounded in hoops. I can't take another year!

Go Cyclones!

Imagine if Conditt takes a leap and you can play all three with Walker and one of the incoming wings. That's a very long, pretty athletic team that could be a nightmare in a zone if they wanted.

A while back when Hoover had their good teams they used a second unit at the start of the 2nd quarter. Sandquist would keep them in until they gave up 2 baskets and they'd press full court . Results were 2 fold. First unit got an extended break while the opponent had to bust their asses. There were times they were able to play the entire quarter but the best result came when they played half the quarter then the 1s came in and dominated a worn out squad.

Be cool to see us run something like that coming out of the 2nd TV TO.

I think Prohm's going to pull it off and both become eligible honestly. Don't have any inside info, just a good feeling.

I think that with the new transfer rule being voted on in January, covid and BLM, the NCAA is going to be VERY lenient on waivers this summer.

Don't see to many of the CSP haters commenting here, has to be a big blow to their self esteem.
Just wait until we overachieve to begin the year, are in the hunt in February, but drop a few games and end up getting 5th in the conference. I'm sure those hating on CSP will come out in full force.

Agree wholeheartedly, those hating on CSP are licking their wounds before hibernating. Big12 is going to be brutal this year so I will be very happy with a first round bye in the Big12 Tourney. 3-6 will change daily as games are played.

If we end up getting 6th in the conference, 1.) that's an incredible job by Steve 2.) we're in the tournament

Talent wise (with everyone eligible), we should definitely be able to get 6th in my opinion. The key thing will be how well these guys can gel and play together. The awesome thing is that we'll have almost everyone back for the 2021-2022 season as well as having those 4 freshman being now sophomores.

It seems from reading a little bit of background that both Hinson and JCL are high energy, high character guys. And team first type guys. The program really needed that.
Yeah I haven't heard much about Tyler's character, however he's fiery as well. All three guys are going to bring a spark and that's very exciting.

That body looks ready for B12 action.
(The one in blue. Not sure about the other guy.)

The best thing about this get. Is I didn’t have to wait 3 weeks of narrowing his list down from 20 and waiting for the obligatory kick to the stones. Nice surprise!
I'll take 3 weeks of following a transfer recruit over 2 years of following a high school recruit like Vaughn or Harrison Barnes only to lose out at the last minute.

I hope so he already battled in the $EC for two years lol
And he's 6'7" 230 pounds. He's a big man and plays downhill. He's also active on the defensive end. I saw someone posted a little highlight reel from Ole Miss Twitter and there was a play where he met Nick Richards from Kentucky at the rim and stuffed his dunk. That really impresses me.

Honestly, I think he's the stretch 4 that we were missing last year. Jacobson with a better shot.

He fouled the Kentucky player 5 seconds after that, but it was a cool block.

I will respectfully disagree with the Jacobson comparison. Mike was more like a 5 trapped in a 4's body. Hinson is more like a 3 trapped in a 4's body. Sort of like an Abdel Nader.
