Big Weekend for Recruiting

There is existing talent on this current team. The offense has lots of it. Still got dismantled by an intern coach at KU. They're also well on their way to going 2-10 after going 3-9. That's coaching. Doesn't matter because Hoiberg.

Tell you what, when we have a season when we don't lose an important offensive starter in the very first series of the first game of the season, against an FCS foe--and go downhill from there--I'll agree that it's only coaching.
 
Would love to get any of those guys. Pierson and Taylor could be good DE's for us next year, then these new guys could hopefully redshirt.

You have a coaching problem when you lose to 2 FCS opponents in a row. There's literally nothing indicating it won't be 3 in a row next season against UNI. When you're the 3rd best team in your own state and when one of those teams is an FCS school, you have a coaching problem. Rhoads is quickly becoming GMac. He's a nice guy and I wish him well, but it ain't working out. I think it's pretty obvious.
 
So it's obvious the coaches know that DT/DE is a glaring hole much in need of bodies. Would love to get at least 6 in the class for DL.

Iowa beat UNI.....who beat NDSU...... so that obviously means that Iowa is better, except Iowa lost to ISU......which must mean that ISU is better than the rest. Just wondering if a win over a Power 5 Conference team is worth more than a win over an FCS team.

Haven't seen anyone reporting a commit, but this would be a great way to start out the weekend. Josh Moore, teammate of current commit Marcel Spears (that's his tweet), formerly committed to Ohio St. and switched to Kansas a month or so ago. Offers from everyone.

I am not a worried about this as some. I think the saying goes, it is not the recruits that you don't get it is the ones you do that don't pan out. IMO that has been more of our problem lately. This is a nice list. Let's nail a few of these down...get them into school...develop them...and win some games!
 
Jomal Wiltz pretty much has the same "skill set" as did David Sims. He would be a very useful guy to have on our team.
