Stone's Go To IPA will be another great option. Got to try it last week and it was excellent. We're looking for a nice low abv, high flavor beer for the wedding and I'm thinking about either a Go To or an All Day.

Now that Deschutes is readily available in Iowa I've had a lot of their stuff recently. Mirror Pond is kind of my "good luck" beer. Every time I've had one before a game we have won. The one home game I didn't was Kansas, so that game is my fault. I just had a different one of theirs, called Red Chair, that I really like also.

Turned 21 today and my present to myself was a half growler of Confluence Thomas Beck Black IPA and a 4 pack of Boulevard Dark Truth Stout from Cyclone Liquors. I LOVE craft beers but haven't had either of these. Anyone tried them?

Not those particulars. And a better question is if you purchased them, why haven't YOU tried them yet

Dang, and I thought I was being fancy with my first purchase being a 12 pack of Grain Belt Premium a couple years ago.

To be fair, my dad and I have been trying obscure craft beers for about a year now so I guess I'm somewhat seasoned. My first purchase, but not my first go around!

Boulevard's are great. Did the same thing on my 21st. Spent around 60 bucks on craft beer. Totally worth it. Happy birthday and celebrate wisely

Mikkeller Beer Geek breakfast and Evil Twin Even more Jesus are two great beers I've had recently that weren't IPA's. You probably don;t want to drink more than 1 though.

But if you turned 21 today how do you know what kind of beer you like!? :jimlad:
