Basketball recruiting update

B/c ESPN rankings are not very good usually. Rivals has a much better history of being right and they have Colvin top 100. Buckley wasn't top 150
 
In my opinion we need one of those two guts to come in and be a very good player next year. I don't think that player has to be Colvin. It has to be one of those two players. It could very well be Buckley given the fact that he will have had a full season learning the offense.
 
Maybe the answer for two more scholarships is the reason Buckley and Mann are not playing. Maybe they are like Johnson was and decided to go to other places......?
 
I'm guessing a couple players on the team were offered a scholarship on a year by year basis, with the understanding it could be given to a future recruit if needed.

Anyways, I do like the outlook of some of these recruits. It really seems like it frees up what we can do as a team. Our lineups would be able to change many different ways making our team have a variety of looks. That is all assuming we get everyone we want and they play to the potential we all hope they will.

DG is better at a point guard as he cannot shoot good enough yet.

No you did not assume correctly. I had no intentions and asked him a question based on his comments and it had nothing to do with who we were recruiting. Cyismydog made up a number, he pulled it out of his ***, b/c we don't CURRENTLY have 2 scholarships available.

I asked in a nice manner how he came up with that number. I of course didn't get an answer, b/c he doesn't know, as he is making it up

A) I got the number from the coaching staff.
B) They said: "Don't worry about. It will take care of itself."
I'm not making it up, and you're continued, repeated criticism of me because you wish you actually knew something, is really getting old. I know it builds up your self esteem to attempt to put me down as much as possible, but I do know what I'm talking about, whether or not you choose to believe it, or continue to live in your own little deluded world is your choice.
I DID NOT make up the number of 2 more being taken, and if you have a problem with it, deal with.

If anyone in their right minds thinks that the coaching staff emails a 15 year old kid about recruiting, than they are seriously confused.

How can the coaching staff talk to you about recruiting ? That would be an NCAA rules violation. See Cy, your full of crap.

Dude, how do you know the relationship he has with the staff? What if he is related to someone that is on the staff. He wouldn't tell us that because then the staff member would be exposed.

You don't need to believe everything he posts but what is the point in calling him out and requiring proof of everything? He has been mostly right about things in the past.

I really don't understand why some people get angy about getting information..

I am not angry about getting information. I love getting information. I simply asked how he came up w/ the number 2 when we currently have zero. He said he got it from the staff. I call bull, the staff doesn't talk recruiting with anyone, let alone a 15 year old kid with no ties to the program, doesn't go to the games, and lives X miles away from the school

Hey 85, LISTEN TO WHAT THE KID IS SAYING! He already clarified - he said he has inside knowledge that we will take two, not that there are two currently available. If you don't want to believe him, fine. Just don't keep asking the same question over and over.

We get it, you don't believe him......nobody cares.

How do you know know he doesnt have ties? maybe one of the coaches or staffers is his uncle? Can we please just end this thread!!

You are obviously so clueless it's funny. I also wouldn't say I have no ties to the program.......
