You ok? This has nothing to do with your Kelm talks. Someone asked how many scholorships we have for 2010. You said 2. That is not true. We currently have zero scholarships available. This is not an opinion but rather a fact

I asked you a simple question of how you got 2. I see one with Brackins leaving early. Where is the other one coming from ? Give me a realistic answer without acting like a 15 year old girl

Just wondering... if we do get two commitments for 2010, by two very good players, will you just be happy, or will you demand to know how exactly it happened?

I don't know what you are trying to get at.

Of course I would be happy if we got 2 great players out of that class. I would jump for joy if we got HB and another player. That is not what I was saying.

It is very simple. Somebody asked how many scholarships we currently have open for 2010. The correct answer is zero. Cyismydog said 2. I asked him how he figured that

In previous threads people were having this huge issue/assumptions how someone will have to lose a scholarship in order for two new commits to come in. That's what I thought you were trying to bring up... in a "I want to complain about how things are done" manner. Sorry if I assumed wrong.
In my opinion, I don't care how they will find room for two more commits, as long as we get better. I think players know exactly what's going on.

I am normally the one doing it! :biglaugh:

I actually would love for us bring in 2 more guys for 2010, but would think it would be poor taste if we did it before a scholarship actually opened up

Shouldn't have signed 7 last year. Signing 7 was a kneejerk reaction to a poor 2nd season.

Ok, so I assumed correctly regarding your intentions.
Like I said, I don't have a problem with it, as long as players know what's going on. And I think they do!

Seriously, though, how many times does this conversation have to take place? Can't we just wait and see what happens?

No you did not assume correctly. I had no intentions and asked him a question based on his comments and it had nothing to do with who we were recruiting. Cyismydog made up a number, he pulled it out of his ***, b/c we don't CURRENTLY have 2 scholarships available.

I asked in a nice manner how he came up with that number. I of course didn't get an answer, b/c he doesn't know, as he is making it up

If Colvin and Diante are both on the floor at the same time, then Colvin better be a good 3-point shooter. Today Diante was 0-fer again on all his jump shots.

Maybe it's time for you to relax turbo. I'll go out on a limb and say that he thinks we will sign TWO players in the 2010 class. Does that make sense?

Project all you want which is nice to think about, but you can have the most talent out there and if not coached well still suffer. I just do not get Mac's style right now especially after today?? Maybe bringing in more athletic bodies will solve it, but I am not so sure.

Cyismydog has become a reliable poster for some time now. He has an inside knowledge of the program. If he says we will have 2 scholarships for that class, then I believe him. He clearly says he doesn't know how we are going to have 2 scholarships but his sources have told him that is what they are planning to have that season. This conversation has gone on for about 4 months from you and it's getting rather old.

It would make sense if that is what he said, but he didn't. He said we have 2 currently open. That is well known to not be true

Assuming Craig goes pro early, than we would have 1 open spot. Currently we have zero open spots, and that is assuming that Gilstrap doesn't get 2 years

Asked and answered. End of story. Go ahead and debate for the umpteenth time how we are going to do it if you want. Until you get reliable sources I think others are interested in hearing what cyismydog has to say.
 
Just looked at the espnu prospect ratings. In comparing Colvin to Buckley, they seem to have similar rankings. Why are expectations so high for Colvin?
