I'd guess every major school without a scholarship will be calling as well, this is a guy that you make room for if he wants to comeEvery major school with a scholarship will be calling this kid, I hope we are trying to make some moves

I've never got the whole "no one on schedule" restriction when the guy isn't immediately eligible.Gary Parrish @GaryParrishCBS 1m1 minute ago
Conditions on Austin Nichols' release per source: No AAC school. Nobody on Memphis schedule. And four to-be-determined schools.
Its for the next two seasons, I would assume they don't want him providing inside scouting information during the year he has to sit.I've never got the whole "no one on schedule" restriction when the guy isn't immediately eligible.
Ah that's makes senseIts for the next two seasons, I would assume they don't want him providing inside scouting information during the year he has to sit.
Iowa was one of the four schools blocked along with Tennessee, Providence and Virginia
That is strange.Iowa was one of the four schools blocked along with Tennessee, Providence and Virginia
teams they have a home-and-home with, I'm assuming. Because the Mid to Low Major schools usually change every year, plus there is no reason to really stop him from going to a low-mid major. How would Memphis know its' schedule for 16-17?
That is strange.
Nichols would be a great pickup.
Frogger was not a great pickup.
Memphis is in a tournament with Iowa, Virginia & Providence in the future. That's why those 3 are restricted. And I'm guessing that Memphis plays Tennesee in the future as well.
With the acc and Tennessee restrictions, that eliminates most teams that heavily recruited him out of school. The more restrictions the better chance we have, but it's a real long shot since every school with a scholarship will want him.
