I was coming here to post the same thing. Earle's number of weeks in the Top 20 in just 6 years is pretty impressive. If you take out any of Campbell's 21-25 weeks, he still has some work to do.
Earle's years, 'modern era' or not, are the most similar to what we seeing with CMC in that we are capable of beating any team in the country.
A buddy of mine and I from graduated high school together at the same time Earle left. We were both in the student section for the Barry Stevens-fueled 2OT upset of #10 Mizzou in ‘83, when Hilton Magic was born.
We’ve decided guys like us are the bridge from Earle Bruce to Matt Campbell. That’s been one hard road.

I would have seen us at #22, but after seeing McMurphy's #24 (he's been a Cyclone homer) I expect we'll drop out until next week.
