I feel so bad for the kid. He's clearly very talented. He proved that today. He deserves to be on a better football team than this. I saw him open many times and Sam was too scared to throw it.

The second interception was on him, though. Could have been a catch if he goes after it with two hands. Sucks because it was still a close game at that point. But he's still a freshman... he'll get better.

Three times in the second half AL was open and SR didn't even look his way. AL was so much bigger then his defender it should have gone to him every time

Great to see Lazard play today and thrilled he is a Cyclone.

That said, I saw very little from the receiver group today to lead me to believe this year will be better than the others. Every ******* year we hear all offseason how good the receivers are gonna be. And every year, it's the same crap on-field production. Separation from defenders was a rarity again today.

His best bet would be to transfer, he'll get a redshirt year next year, then have 3 more years to make an impact on a real football team.

I would support that decision 100%.

Not impressed. Is he good? Yes.

But no excuse for going after that ball with 1 hand and trying to make SC Top 10. Failed basic fundamentals.

It looks like that poor kid just signed up for 4 years of bad QB play and no bowl games.

We need a good O-Line. Our RBs, WRs, and QB will look magically better if we had a great O-Line.

Sam am was not running for his life today. I was there...he had time to throw plenty of times. What baffled me was I don't think mangino called one single 5-8 yd out route. That's so hard to defend. I was not impressed by MM overall play calling...at all.

Chill. It was a crappy pass. Yeah, he could have tried to go with two hands, but he still probably wouldn't have caught it. His momentum was going the other way, it was above his head, etc. It was a crappy pass. Not a great play by Lazard but he shouldn't have even had to move back for it. Sam made that play bad.
