it was a bad throw - high and behind him. The only chance he had to make a catch was to go for it with just his left hand. Unfortunately he should have just let it sail out of bounds.
Not impressed. Is he good? Yes.
But no excuse for going after that ball with 1 hand and trying to make SC Top 10. Failed basic fundamentals.
Sam is afraid to throw down the field. And when he does it either gets tipped or picked. He holds the ball way too long. Lazard needs Rohach to play to excel. Someone who actually throws the ball over 10 yards down the field.
its not Sam's fault either. He has no confidence. That's on the coaches. Sam was a good QB when he got here. He has been ruined.
This post is really not smart and displays a lack of knowledge. This poster should be banned. He is on ignore mode in 3,2,1.....
What he is doing in game? I yank him. This was a horrible junior high play. The second interception was on him, though. Could have been a catch if he goes after it with two hands. Sucks because it was still a close game at that point. But he's still a freshman... he'll get better.
I was all for Sam starting, but he was not very good today. There were several times when someone was wide open and he threw into double and triple coverage. On the long shot they took to the TE there were 3 guys covering. Someone has to be open if there are 3 guys chasing a TE.
WHYYYYYYYYYY?I've already gone back and watched the play on FS1.
Was it a great pass by Sam? No. But even the commentators say it should've been caught WITH BOTH HANDS.
3 guys covering him, but he was wide openBingo. Said the same thing myself. 3 guys were covering Bibbs. He has some separation, but they closed.
THROW IT TO BLYTHE!Three times in the second half AL was open and SR didn't even look his way. AL was so much bigger then his defender it should have gone to him every time
It's game #1 if he doesn't have confidence he's done
