All FB coaching rumors and speculation

IDK... Just seems crazy regarding Dabo to Notre Dame. He leaves a place he's won multiple titles at and can recruit extremely well at to a place that the old coach left because of recruiting limitations and an inability to win a title?

Eh, with them joining the big 12, it isnt crazy to think that.
prior to them joining Big 12, given the last two years it wasn't crazy.

As great as the Campbell's era has been, I don't know if people realize how fragile ISU's football success is.

See KSU when Snyder first retired. There's no guarantee that things don't fall off pretty hard to where bowl eligibility becomes a successful season.

Agree...not sure Dabo would fit well in South Bend...but then again I didn't think BK seemed like he would go to LSU? And Clemson does have some advantages that ND doesn't in terms of recruiting.

If ISU was undefeated and in the CFP playoff conversation, Campbell would be offered. He would be gone. It is the disappointing record while having a stacked team that throws up red flags for Notre Dame. We have lost 4 games we could have won. Losing 1 game like that at Notre Dame is reason for termination.......

Just talked with my 45 year ND booster and he first said the exact same thing as what @Stormin has above. Felt good about that until I told him of CMC's quotes on goals, and why he's stayed in Ames (we all know them).

My buddy's next comment was-- "Wow. I know you don't want to hear this, but that's exactly the type of person ND administration will want. You better hope Campbell doesn't get an interview."

I hope he does. And I hope he dazzles their asses. And if he's offered, and he wants to take that opportunity, great for him.
