An interesting side note is that the Packers are owned by about 360k shareholders who elect a Board of Directors which appoints an executive committee to handle operations. Makes one wonder what if any kind of influence Rodgers could have in regards to affecting culture...aka personnel.
Packers top five receivers, including Lazard, didn't show up for OTAs. Hope this doesn't hurt Allen long term.
As a Bears fan, how do we add gasoline to this fire because the flames are so glorious?
Blake Bortles will start if Rodgers doesn't play. Love is so far away from being ready.

In the same way that Rex Grossman quarterbacked a Bears team to a Super Bowl appearance.
That Jacksonville season they had the #1 running game and the 2nd ranked defense.

That is okay. My delivery was kind of flat.
You have to figure that if the Packers move him (a big "if" there), then they'll want a viable starting quarterback in return. I don't think they want to go into next season with Bortles and Love.
This is why the Raiders intrigue me at the moment. Derek Carr has had an up-and-down career, but he's an above-average starter. He was #11 in ESPN TQBR last season. He's viable.
None of the guys in the top ten from last year...

...are obviously going anywhere, but there are a few ones up there I could crazily see happening such as Rodgers to the Titans, the Redtails, or even the Seahawks or Browns.

I'm not sure if the money works for Carr. He's got a 19million dollar base salary this year. Can the Packers make that work with Rodgers dead money?
This here says trading Rodgers after June 1 saves them a net $22.850 million against the cap.
Carr's 2021 cap hit is $22.125 million. They line up pretty close to each other.

Taken from a Packers fan site. In the wake of some of the GB wideouts not showing up for OTAs, one guy is advocating for a team meeting where this is presented:
“ Guys this isn’t anything personal but you’re here to play football, not run for Congress or make the front of People magazine. I don’t want to know your political affiliation and I certainly don’t want to offend anyone with our policy or procedure. If you’ve got a problem? Quit. Put your cleats up here on the desk and there’s the door.
“We love you guys and have enjoyed working with you. You’re each our family. But if you’re personal desires have now risen above what’s best for our team and our family? Then you need to go find another team where players run the show. I can assure you .. do not apply for the US Military.. you will be highly discouraged if you think they will allow you to run the show. Like us, They are interest in 1 thing and 1 thing only. Winning”
We are going to win and if you can put your selfish desires behind you in favor of a team philosophy? We’d love to have you.. and when we reach the top? (And we will reach the top) you don’t even need to tell us we were right. Because YOU were part of our success. Your buy in is integral in our winning culture and we will owe YOU a great thanks”

The door to the right to the practice field is for the Winners. We’ve had a winning culture since the 1920’s and we’re not going to stop 100 years later, even if the entire team quits. We’ll rebuild without you”
The poster had many compliments on his suggestion. Some of those fans need a strong dose of reality. I would absolutely love to hear that the Packers were taking this approach. Good effing luck.

Packers did not have a winning culture from Vince to the Magic Man starting. Those were some lean years.
Rodgers is set for life. This can't go wrong for him no matter how it ends up. Not so for a lot of the other players. He is a major douchecanoe if he has asked (or is expecting) any other player to do anything in his spat with the organization.
IDK. IMO the OTA issue is a bit telling in that I don't think all of those guys would have made the choice to skip if they know he isn't planning on sticking around.
