3/9 AP Poll, ISU 13th

anyone have a summary of what ISU was ranked this year? My off the cuff memory says:

High: 9
Low: 17

Ranked every week, majority of it being in the top 15.

Kick it out to Buss/Bohannon for the trey?

I thought the Panthers were doomed after the first half. They kept going in side and just getting absolutely shut down. Illinois State was playing some physical ball down low and the stripes were letting them play. Couple that with a lack of perimeter shooting and you end up down big at the half. If UNI puts together an entire game that looks like that, they're doomed. However, if they put together a game like their second half, they could go deep.

I'm also in the camp which believes WSU should have dropped out of the top 20 or even 25.

why? RPI? SOS? W/L record?

The funny part is people bash WSU, but are ok with UNI being up there, when UNI's only top 50 win is over WSU.

Wichita State being a joke makes UNI a joke.

#truefact. I was reading bubble watch on ESPeeN about the Murray State coach laying out his case and talking about who they've beat, and who they've beat has beaten. I doubt WSU's would look much different and look at where they are at as opposed to Murray State. At least Murray State made the championship of their crappy conference's tourney.

Our high was #9, and we got it twice (Dec. 29 and Jan. 19); lost to South Carolina and Texas Tech to fall out in those weeks.

For the low, we were #20 on the Dec. 1 poll after losing to Maryland the week before. Maryland was unranked when they beat us, so that loss dropped us 7 spots.

Their loss to Illinois State in the Semifinals of the Valley Tourney. I would think based on the performance of teams around them that a conference tourney loss could drop them more than 4 spots. Maybe not though.

Starting with pre-season our weekly ranks in the AP have been: 14, 14, 13, 20, 14, 13, 12, 9, 17, 11, 9, 15, 11, 14, 14, 12, 17, and now 13.

Here it is by voter. Boycott Scott Mansch?

They don't know much about BB up there in Montana. The other uninformed writers are from Salt Lake City, Tuscalosa, Reno, Baltimore, Ft. Wayne, and Durham. What do you expect?

Two guys that should know better are Werner from Waco and Seth Davis.
