I'm hoping we can guarantee a three seed with our performance in the conference tourney. Then hoping my grad school alma mater (Notre Dame) also can secure a three seed so they aren't in the same region again.

ISU has won over half of it's games against ranked teams. WSU is failing 75% of the time they have a chance to do something good and their only achievement all season is at home...where ISU has taken down a bunch of ranked teams, often with ease.

Sorry apologists and contrarians, but this is not "HATE". It's common sense. WSU could prove me wrong and go on a huge tournament run, but it's a fact that they are probably one of the most overrated teams in regular season college basketball history. When did a team ever rise to 8th on one decent win all year?

Exactly. UNI is just taking their turn as the darling nothing mid major of the year. The AP doesn't want to look biased against the lower conferences so they bolster a couple of these teams every year who go on a run beating on the likes of The Iowa Braille school day in and day out. In the long run, it's not going to change anything. Next year another school in UNI's position will rise up and take their turn and the cycle will go on.

I just get so tired of the argument that you can't punish teams for playing poor conference schedules even though it's in actuality punishing teams and players that have accomplished so much more than they have. Case in point, Fred Van Vleet as a finalist for the Cousy. Are you kidding me? He isn't even the best point guard in his own damn state, but, you know, we have to always be fair to the little guy. Throw them a pity bone here and there and hope they don't ***** too much down the road.
