They seem to be far less one dimensional than most mid-majors. Tuttle is a huge asset on the inside, but they have guys who can shoot all over the floor, and Washpun can go get his own. Maybe some other guys too, I don't know.
Especially with them ranked ahead of us. I wish they didn't but the players clearly pay attention to that stuff.
Hurt or not, UNI wins one game in the tourney. I'd like to see them go further, but I don't think they are a Sweet Sixteen talent team.

Washpun is a very good player. The rest of their team is decent shooters with limited athleticism who look awesome because they play bad teams who have no answer at all for Tuttle.
If Tuttle is truly great they can still do this against some legit top teams (not WSU but real top teams). Look at Niang who is a very similar player...some games he can completely dominate a ranked team and thus we roll. Other games they have his number and it's up to Monte or Hogue or Naz or BDJ or McKay to carry the day.
I do think Tuttle could shred some good teams, he's a very good college basketball player. But I think, like with the similar Niang this year or Ejim last year, some legit teams will be able to limit him if they make him the top priority. When that happens it's the real question.
I'll go with our stable of 'other' guys in a heartbeat should a team successfully focus on taking out our #1 threat.
