hopefully tyrese has some playoff incentive bonuses that will kick in
This was my thought. May be slim pickings but there will be guys at the end that may still be worth a look for pretty low $.There are still tons of guys in the portal at the moment. Not saying we’re going to have our pick of the litter or anything like that but we can be strategic in some sense.
This seems pretty likely, I'm guessing a Mulder level guard or wing. This was my thought. May be slim pickings but there will be guys at the end that may still be worth a look for pretty low $.
Transfer rankings are worthless. No one should pay attention to them. They're worse than high school rankings.Ok fair but I saw somewhere it was ranked top 5 or something like that, guessing only because of Stirtz
Don’t you dare talk bad about Jeff BeverlyOur last transfer from UTSA was not a great fit. No idea on this guy. Just reminded me of getting JB.
Iowa on the board with a non-drake transfer.
After "weeding out" the other transfer options, this could be a great choice. One of the best 3pt shooters in the country

Our template for something like this is Heise IMO. Really good player in a mid-major league who wants to make it to the tournament before their career is done.I'd like to see us go after former highly rated recruits who have struggled early in their career. Nojus adjacent from another squad. Although I guess Nojus even got a bag, so not sure if those kind of guys are even affordable.

How about Max Hooper out of Oakland a few years ago? During the 2015-2016 season, he put up 257 shots. Every single one was a 3, and he shot 45.5%:Only 10 2pt buckets on the year and exactly 100 3’s made on the year. Wow, never seen that before!

I remember catching a few of their games back then. He’d always have a couple of opportunities to shoot one inside the arc, but never one that was a gimme. Announcers would make a point to get real excited when they thought he would shoot a 2. Invariably, the ball would get passed out, reversed, he’d run the baseline and somehow get a 3 off even though everyone knew he was shooting it. Wild stuff.Might be the best basketball player name ever
