2025 Transfer Options

This was my thought. May be slim pickings but there will be guys at the end that may still be worth a look for pretty low $.
This seems pretty likely, I'm guessing a Mulder level guard or wing.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see us take an off the radar guy like a JUCO, international guy, or late developing high school prospect.

Our last transfer from UTSA was not a great fit. No idea on this guy. Just reminded me of getting JB.

I'd like to see us go after former highly rated recruits who have struggled early in their career. Nojus adjacent from another squad. Although I guess Nojus even got a bag, so not sure if those kind of guys are even affordable.

Our template for something like this is Heise IMO. Really good player in a mid-major league who wants to make it to the tournament before their career is done.

How about Max Hooper out of Oakland a few years ago? During the 2015-2016 season, he put if 257 shots. Every single one was a 3, and he shot 45.5%:

Last years version from Oakland. 364 out of 372 shots were 3 pointers.

Might be the best basketball player name ever
I remember catching a few of their games back then. He’d always have a couple of opportunities to shoot one inside the arc, but never one that was a gimme. Announcers would make a point to get real excited when they thought he would shoot a 2. Invariably, the ball would get passed out, reversed, he’d run the baseline and somehow get a 3 off even though everyone knew he was shooting it. Wild stuff.
