Not exactly sure.
That was f ing amazing. That world record is just insane.

On a side note - did anyone see the American lady who won discus? Holy crap she is HHHOOOOTTTTTTTT!!
I think 3 people may have broke the old world record. Imagine having to break the best ever just to be on the podium.

Just saw the interview with the Norway and USA 400 hurdlers. The Norwegian was very respectful and mostly humble in his interview. Talked about how great of a race the US runner ran. That is the part of the olympics I like.

Team USA is about to play Spain in the MBB quarter-final. I still find it hard to understand why this game is not being broadcast live on national TV and we have to settle for the online stream. Besides, I'm a big fan of Fran Fraschilla and I really want to listen to his commentary when I watch the game.

Here's the online stream link. Vince Carter is the color commentator.

I mean it was ridiculously unlucky for Lavelle, but it was clearly a penalty. Rose got no ball, her kick took out the Canadian player.

She probably would've kicked the ball had the Canadian not ran up her back, grabbed her arm to initiate contact, and then fell down. Rose definitely should've fallen down and grabbed her leg sooner based on all of the games I've watched lately.

Well, if she would have kicked the ball we'd probably not be where we are I suppose, but she kicked the players leg instead. The Canadian player didn't do anything wrong.

A lot of the USA guys don't seem comfortable playing against physical aggressive defense. Good game so far.

Spain up 2 after 1 quarter. It's crazy that these 2 teams among the best countries at this that the loser of this game won't medal at these games. This is usually a semifinal or gold medal match up in Olympics past.

Absolutely abysmal shooting, Spain has a huge size advantage, and yet we are managed to be tied at half. Knock a few threes down in the 2nd half and I think it should be a comfortable W. Managed to snag USA -2.5 when we were down 9

Fran Fraschilla said this in a previous match, "NBA and FIBA basketball are like Spanish and Portuguese (language). They might sound similar but they are two different sports. If this game was played under NBA rules, Team USA would probably win by 20+. But with FIBA rules, the playfield is leveled because we are just not used to that kind of basketball. I hope we can grind it out and advance.
