Only saw one of their games and the top US scorer went out with an ankle injury. Did she make it back for the gold medal game?

Kudos to the Tokyo Olympic organizers for providing a space for very few hiccups with all that's going on, and the athletes from all over for all the work to get there and represent.

Yep. It was a great olympics. Now a quick turnaround to Beijing in 2022 and Paris in 2024

Jordan Thompson never played again after her injury. Andrea Drews ended up coming up pretty big in her place. The whole team stepped up.

I guess I don’t understand Karate even though I’m well versed in the Karate Kid movies (as well as the Netflix series). Looked clean to me. Pretty sure Daniel-San would be wearing gold there.

There are a lot of intriguing personalities on that team that made them fun to watch. weirdly, I probably enjoyed watching women’s volleyball more than men’s basketball. And that could only be possible in the olympics since I would never watch USA volleyball in a non Olympic event.
