I Cubs account for 6 RBI's tonight.

Half this team was in DSM last game I went to.

Valbuena, Valakis, Coughlin, Baez, Alcantra, Soler

Exciting times. We're starting to see some early fruits, and this bottom-up approach is so refreshing. I'll never fault Hendry for going for going for it like he did. He built some damn good teams- one that got oh so close, another that was the best in baseball over 162. But the overhaul was needed, and the Cubs are within a season or two of being contenders with the prospects and payroll flexibility they will have. Absolutely enjoying this season of transition. Its been fun to watch, despite the record. Where's rebeccacy when you need him?

Possible. I saw them together at a company outing a few years back. I thought he was her dad at first. There has to be at least a 20 year age difference.

But they do have at least one kid together, so who knows.

Please Lord Baby jesus do the Cubs a solid for once and let these prospects be the real deal.

Does anyone think they will go after a few veterans for next year to "teach these kids how to win"? A lot of championship caliber teams have those types of players.

Baez promotion: 11-9

These kids aren't far off from being a real ball club.

Didn't leave Stadium but looks like it went to the back walkway and maybe hit some type of pole.

Can someone explain Castro's extreme lack of hustle and focus this last week? I read that he probably thinks he's going to be traded, but I doubt that would cause a man to absolutely tank like he is.

You'd think he'd be giving it everything he had to try and stay on the team.
