***Official 2025 NCAA Tournament Thread***

So far, if you count the football playoffs and games so far, SEC is a combined 6-6. It just means more losses, I guess.

4-3 so far. Certainly not a good record, but it’s not the disaster I was hoping for. There’s always tomorrow though.

Tech not messing around coming out of the gate.

Gonna have to mute the Taco Tech game.... the constant crowd chanting is annoying

When we played Omaha early in the year, I could tell they were a good team. Not surprised they're competing.

How the heck did McCollum stay at NW Missery St. For 15 seasons with the success he had?
He was recognized as a great coach and evaluator of talent. Consequently he turned down D-1 assistant opportunities, holding out for a D-1 HC job. When DeVries landed the Drake job, McCollum was close. When DeVries left for WVU, BM was the AD’s first call.

My count is 4-3. Losses by Georgia, Texas and Missouri. Wins by Auburn, Tenn., Arky, and A & M. Could be wrong, though.

Sounds about right. The good SEC teams are really good; the trash SEC teams are really trash; Arky is the outlier simply because they got to play the consummate tourney choker.

You know who is doing well so far? The Big 10.
Shut your wh0re mouth! :)

Seriously, the first round is always funky. It will be interesting to see which teams make the Sweet 16 and beyond. Most of the fodder (from all conferences) will be gone by then.
