Maybe not a title, but the F4 is definitely in play. For me a successful season would be finishing the season exceeding our recent tournament finishes. I’d sign up for an E8 right now and be over the moon about it.

With the current health of the team, depending on the draw, I’ll be happy making second weekend, while silently screaming in my head the rest of my life about what could have been if this team had stayed healthy (first Momcilovic, then Gilbert and Lipsey).

That said, the right draw and a little bit of get health quick and I think we can still make a Final Four run… it’s just earlier in the year the draw wouldn’t have mattered anywhere near as much.

F’ BYU. I have a new team to passionately hate in the Big 12.
We're clearly rivals with KSU in football and KU in basketball, but I'm with you as far as passionate hate.

I want to beat KSU & KU for sure, but I hate BYU & then followed secondly by BU.

All the other conference members just don't give me the same vitriolic feeling.

Wild that points in the paint were 40-20 Clones and free throws were 21-7 Cougs.

Which makes me wonder as I as not able to watch the games….was the game called evenly? Saw that we had ten more fouls than they did?

If you don't play a lot of zone, not sure how well you execute

Saw KSU switch to zone yesterday a Baylor mowed through it. Yes it's Tang but he cut his teeth on 1-3-1 at Baylor

With guys out I think you have to stick with what you are comfortable with
Yeah, a badly played zone is almost always worse than about any defense you can imagine.

I know there are no moral victories, but this one sure feels like one. Really hard fought game, just came up a little short.

JP4CY noted the paint points vs ft discrepancy. Hard to see how the Cyclones could dominate inside, but not get to the line.

The biggest thing we need moving forward is having our full roster.....obviously. However, the other things that stuck out after the OSU loss was how bad our offensive flow and effort were. Since that game, no matter who has suited up for us, our offensive flow and effort have been great. If Tamin and Keshon are back next week, I am highly confident we make it into the Sweet 16. Who knows what could happen after that.
