Post-game Cyhawk thread

How did Sandfort avoid getting T'd up on that temper tantrum when he knee the game was over? I've never seen the refs just let something that egregious slide before.

Freeman had a hanging on the rim that would be a tech half the time, wasn't just normal hang on the rim but like kicking around his legs as much as he could.

They were amped and they had their superbowl win celebrations...midway through the loss.

Some pub is always cool, it led Parrish's top-25+1. Granted, it's a daily ranking and there were like NO other games Thursday involving a top 25 team (or any 'power' leagues, ither). But whatever.

It's pretty wild that we're sitting there at #3 with our only loss to the current #2 on a last second tip in, and we have a pretty comfortable win over #4.

Even more wild is the fact wins over top programs are normal now. The program has grown so fast since the end of the Prohm era. That two win season seems like it was 10+ years ago

Honestly how TJ hasn't yet won national coach of the year in any of his years here seems criminal to me. That first year turnaround was unreal in college sports. We're so lucky to have him as our coach.

I feel your pain. I've been in bed with a nasty stomach bug since Monday night. I spent most of Monday night and Tuesday throwing up on 2 hour intervals. To make matters worse both grandma's who usually watch our 2 year old got the exact same thing.

So I've been stuck inside my house for 4 days now with an out of control 2 year old while my wife attempts to work from home. Then today DMPS is not in session so I have a 2 and 5 year old out of control while I attempt to recover from this stuff.
Yeah, it's sucks. I don't feel terrible. Actually felt way worse Tuesday morning, but I was testing negative, and I seemed to clear up by Thursday after a couple of good days rest. Then I tested today. Bummer. Wife tested negative, so another negative and she's in the clear.

My twins are okay, but it's clear that they are the under the weather. At least being cooped up, they don't have their normal amount of energy.

I was really looking forward to the neighborhood Christmas party. Its a rare occasion I convince my wife to dress up "fun" (ie, she usually dresses like a 40 year old college professor mom of three) and it's usually a really good time. I was hoping to hear more stories of a teenage Travis Kelce in my house. He used to play Little League with my nextdoor neighbors son, and my neighbor at the time owned my house. Also was looking forward to the pitchers of margaritas I was going to make.

Get well.

Can't wait to watch this game again. Watched the WBB game again still can't believe we blew that lead. Very Sad-

Wonder if Beth Goetz was in attendance to hear the "Lets go State" chant. Hopefully she extends Fran's contract. I mean come on! They played with intesity, Fran stayed pretty mild. They were ohh so close.
If Fran stayed mild, it means he knows the end is near and is just checking his bank account on paydays and making sure it cleared.

We've come a long way (in short order) from Gabe, Jazz and Brockington.

I found it very odd that Chris Williams said multiple times in the postgame pod that "Iowa didn't play its best game" or they "didn't bring their A game"... what the hell you smokin, Chris!? Iowa played out of their a** for like 33 minutes. Like, literally their A+ game. And they couldn't pull away from us.

If that wasn’t their A game, they don’t have one. I think they even banked in a free throw

He spiked the ball *right* in front of Doug Sirmons. Doug absolutely loves handing out Ts, I couldn't believe it

Years ago Acie Earl kicked the ball -- just like a punter -- after a bad call and was not T'd up during the Iowa State-Iowa game.

So I think an Iowa player will never get T'd up at Carver
