Functionally I might like them because it seems like it could give a nice even distribution of light, but aesthetically I hate it... it looks like a prison.

I'm not sure how I feel about their proposed lights. Apparently they represent "wheat". Could look cool though, hell I don't know.
Would be really nice to replace our dorky-ass erector set light structures. Would be cool as hell to replace those structures super tall "5 bar Jack Trice logo" shaped structures. THAT would be unique and cool.

Also of note, they only have started 2/3 of the project. And that is coming in way over budget, and they have not secured the money to pay for even that yet. So the plan may never get totally finished and the old stands may not get done on the other side, from what is being rumored.

Hmmm, no CYTown agreement on the BOR agenda that just dropped. Kinda surprised. Next meeting isn’t until February.
Public meeting laws in Iowa allow agendas/agenda items to be changed until 24 hours before the meeting.
I was about to say the same thing. They are(were) at least 100 million over budget and planned on making it up by more donations during their dream season that well didn’t happen.

Pollard wasn't on Coaches Corner last night from what I could tell skipping through it quick. Was hoping he would give an update of some sort. I'll be pretty disappointed if we don't get any more news this year, love me some ISU infrastructure news.
I feel VERY confident that a video update will be out in 2024. Those at ISU "involved" are not sharing much, which is probably a good thing given it's pretty much Goldenrod's project now.
Looks like they need to finish up that landscaping a bit, lol
