Baylor coming to town for a prime time game takes me back to this

That game started at 2:30. It was in November, so the flight happened under the lights.

David Montgomery is one of the nicest persons God has ever put on this earth. Only a team like Baylor could sucker him into a fist fight and make him ineligible for the next game.

I can only imagine David was smiling just a little last weekend when Baylor lost in the last seconds.

All media hates late games. They have post-game obligations that takes them into the next day, sometimes.

I will never forget that one. I remember watching all of it and seeing it build to that point and still being like "is this real? What the **** is going on?!?!"

95% of the crowd could just go naked and it'd be the most intimidating/horrific white out ever seen at a stadium. Guaranteed Baylor would be distracted.

I used to love night games. The older I get, I dislike them. So this is probably an age thing...

I kinda prefer day games, but I'm getting sick of these early season games where you're just frying in the stadium. Night time kicks for September would make for a better in-person experience, IMO.

Media hates it because they have to stick around for interviews and/or do the post game radio, write their columns, etc and end up going to bed at 3am

I could be wrong but I doubt cw is doing any of that anymore. Outside of the short postgame show with Lea (who is really good btw) I’m guessing CF, Rob, Jackie, and crew do all the post game media scrum.

Well CW just said on yesterday's 2 Guys episode that he still doesn't usually get home till 3am or later on night games, so sounds like he still does quite a bit.

Doesn’t he just go back to the RV lot and postgame tailgate since he’s no longer “on the clock”? Pretty sure he mentions frequently once he’s done with work the RV lot turns into watching the late games and having some cocktails. It doesn’t really matter to me either way. It’s not a big deal.

The call-in/reaction show starts after Walters and Heft are done with their postgame.

For a 6:30 game, that puts the end of the call-in/reaction show right around midnight. And other media will still be working until 1 a.m.
