Wasn't expecting a repeat of last week but tonight's episode was a bit of a snoozer for me.
It seems they are following the last couple of seasons of GoT. One great episode with action, one not so much.

Is action the only measure of a good episode? It seems they are following the last couple of seasons of GoT. One great episode with action, one not so much.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he had one son and one daughter at the time the son was killed.A lot of table setting, but not a whole lot of substance. Other than Aemond being named ruler in Aegon’s stead.
One thing that confused me, they kept saying Aemond is next in line. But doesn’t Aegon have a second son (after the first was murdered in episode 1)?
You're correct. It's a change from the book in which Aegon has two sons and a daughter.Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he had one son and one daughter at the time the son was killed.
Gotcha. So I’m getting confused with the book then. It also makes a lot more sense now that Aemond took out Aegon at the Battle of Rook’s Rest last week. You're correct. It's a change from the book in which Aegon has two sons and a daughter.
What kind of confused me about Aemond assuming regency is that in GoT, when Robert Baratheon gets gored by the boar and his health waivers, Ned Stark rules in his stead as hand of the king. By this logic, shouldn't Ser Criston served as regent king as the current hand to Aegon?Gotcha. So I’m getting confused with the book then. It also makes a lot more sense now that Aemond took out Aegon at the Battle of Rook’s Rest last week.
I was thinking more of thissynopsis of tonight's episode:

Addam: Addam of Hull
Seasmoke: What is your quest?
Addam: To escape with my life
Seasmoke: What's your favorite color?
Addam: Blue?
Seasmoke: Right. Off you go. Want a lift?

I believe SilverWing is also there? If Seasmoke has been taken, does that leave only one adult dragon left (Vermithor, her fathers dragon) for Rhaenyra at Dragonstone??
There are potentially some additional ones, depending on how close they stick to the source material. They've already changed the location of one of them, so the rest might not be included at all.I believe SilverWing is also there?
Yep, and they mentioned some wild dragons still out there, which clearly that scene in the Vale was illustrating.I believe SilverWing is also there?
It 100% feels like the first few seasons of GOT and I love it.House of the Dragon has made me temporarily forget about the GOT Season 8 debacle.. Just a complete masterclass of a show
Season 2 of both series may be the two best seasons of television I have ever watched! It 100% feels like the first few seasons of GOT and I love it.
I feel like there is lots of crazy stuff coming up in the next couple episodes!Season 2 of both series may be the two best seasons of television I have ever watched!
Better yes, but still too much bad decision making all around by leaders of both sides. Also feels like the Blacks are going to get bailed out by deus ex machina when it comes to getting more dragons.House of the Dragon has made me temporarily forget about the GOT Season 8 debacle.. Just a complete masterclass of a show
