We got 4" at our house in Indianola, and I had a coworker with 5".Other than Indianola at 3.5" it doesn't look like anyone else got above 2.7" and most locations were 1.5 or less. I-70 from Columbia to St. Louis was the winner last night with 4"+
How’s the saylorville damn forecast looking?
Holes have a way of bouncing back. That creek runs most of the back nine. I imagine that several holes are heavily damaged.
Yep, I can only think of one hole (other than maybe 1 which is on the east nine) that doesn't run adjacent to that creek (6)). I'd bet it will be a good while before the west 9 is open at all (if it's this year, I will be pleasantly surprised). That creek runs most of the back nine. We had a secondary sump connected to the battery backup. It never kicked on, so either it died from lack of use, or the battery connected to it died.If your pump goes, battery back up makes no difference. Make sure the pump is not on the bottom. It will plug it up if it is.
Got to treat the battery back up units like a fire alarm...test them on a regular basis. We had a secondary sump connected to the battery backup. It never kicked on, so either it died from lack of use, or the battery connected to it died.
The holes directly west of the clubhouse are probably safe. They are elevated a bit. Every other hole is probably partially to fully flooded.Yep, I can only think of one hole (other than maybe 1 which is on the east nine) that doesn't run adjacent to that creek (6)). Normally that's like a 10 foot wide creek
Is everything **** and balls jokes here on the weather forum?Holes have a way of bouncing back.
Yeah, I'm referring to the west 9 as the ones on the west side of the road that cuts through (2-10)The holes directly west of the clubhouse are probably safe. They are elevated a bit. Every other hole is probably partially to fully flooded.
Yeah, everything north of the mile long bridge is reaaally shallow. Like 4-5 ft with a deeper channel along both sides. 2 winters ago the Army Corps lowered the normal lake level like 5-6ft to do some work on the damn. When the channels froze over I was able to walk across them and the entire middle was above water. I walked on exposed lake bed in the center of the lake that extended almost all the way to the bridge. It was pretty cool.Times like this make me wonder, how much extra capacity would Saylorville have if the north end were dredged? It has to be enormous. Given the increased likelihood of floods in coming generations, it seems like a no-brainer to get that done.
More or less, how long can you really talk about the weather? Is everything **** and balls jokes here on the weather forum?
Of course not, that's preposterous to say everything is **** and balls jokes. There are also ******* @CoachHines3 mom jokes too that give it a whole lot more diversity in discussion. Is everything **** and balls jokes here on the weather forum?
