Are the weather nerds projecting how much or if at all Beryl is going to make its way inland? Will it be bringing a bunch more rain to the Midwest?

Still too early to say, but it does look like it could get pretty deep into the western Gulf of Mexico.

For real. We just got a major dousing. We live on top of a hill, thank goodness. Damn river in our yard down by the road, and the sump pump has been running constantly for a couple days already.

Didn't see anything posted on how Beryl maxed out this morning. 165 mph at its peak.

People in the path of the DM river should be nervous. A lot of rain in the north part that feeds the sources. When I drove across it Sunday in several places, it was way out of its banks so water is still moving down and now got another charge.

I'm guessing it'll be kept under control unless Saylorville or Red Rock overflow.
