Well yeah. But you have to teach your players how to pick and choose your battles. Too often we have players that don't seem to grasp when it's a good time to double or collapse. Often it's a guy like Jones or King who makes a bad decision and it results in wide open shooters.
I'm all for trapping when it's the tight players involved or spot on the floor (Ward is a great trapper and has the ability to recover). But the amount of trapping this team does reminds me of Morgan ball when we pressed regardless of the situation. The result is it ends up hurting us as much as it helps.

Since C Jones missed 2 3 pointers against the #1 defense in the country I’m sure some CFers will ignore his amazing lob assists to Ward, solid defense, and another game with zero TOs.
They're a really good team. They look like the type of team that can get to the Final Four and take it all.
And him flipping it out to Milan at the end to take on the free throws was underrated.
It may have looked like he was deflecting to avoid having to be the guy but he played the percentages.
Gilbert was great on Cryer, I didn't think he was anything special at Baylor, always seemed soft. KG was all over him all night.
Congrats to the Cyclones!!!! what a win, showed the heart of a lion out there against a Houston team that is so tough on def. What a way to respond after the OK loss. Our team is fun to watch, we don't give up.
They might not be #1 but they are top-5 for sure. Their defense is nasty, and no matter what you think of the officiating of it, they aren’t like the Huggy WVU teams. Most of the time they play right on the edge. Some missed calls for sure but nothing as egregious as WVU.
Offensively they are better than what we saw tonight but that’s because our defense was locked in and played fantastic.
We need Houston to basically tear up the league now so this is not just any Q1 win but rather one the committee will really value.

Part of it was Houston's doing but when they came back, MM wasn't even getting touches. Need to get him more involved all night.
Nope a certain poster will call him terrible and say he adds no value.
The timing of those shots will come for him just like earlier.
I’m confused by this mentality. We took the 11th ranked team down to the wire on the road. That game actually gave me hope and made me know we got something
Tamin knew exactly what he was doing there. burn a few more seconds and put the ball in the hands of the best FT shooter on the team (by far)
