Good win. Thought we were going to blow it but the guys never gave up.

Completely perplexed by Otz's choice to take Ward, the most impactful player on the floor for us, out of the game the last few minutes. Just a terrible decision, especially having both Jones and King on the floor at the same time.

Rough second half offensively, but it was against the #1 defense in the country. Nice of them to grind out the win.

That shot by Milan was Biblical.

The stretch were King dominated on both ends saved us from that rough stretch.
Really was a balanced team effort. Gilbert will get knocked but he locked down Cryer. That dude usually salivates when he sees Hilton on the schedule.

A great win for Iowa State Universi-D.

All of our guys have offensive limitations but you can never fault their effort and the leadership of guys like Tamin and Tre. I didn't think that Ward would be so much better this year - I wish he could've played in Orlando.

And that baseline fade-away was a Bird-esque piece of art.

I'm normally as optimistic as they come, but I'm worried about Houston's aggressive play at every level causing us fits offensively.

Gonna say 76-62 Houston. I look forward to quoting this post later and calling myself an idiot for doubting Hilton Magic.

Look at this idiot. JK ;)
