Hasn't recruiting been at an all time high? I don't follow recruiting that closely but I thought Campbell was pulling in Top 30 classes.

They must all be on defense because there is a serious lack of talent on the offensive side of the ball. Besides X our skull position talent is Paul Rhodes level. All these guys that were suppose to be studs like Wilson and Shaw are lucky to have 1 catch per game.

You’re ******** and complaining constantly. You can’t get a Head Coaching job. What the hell have you ever accomplished? You’re just a complainer. Matt Campbell is the best coach we have ever had. I am willing to cut him some slack. Trust Campbell.
Trust Campbell? To do what? make the same mistakes year after year? Show no urgency during the game? Cash big checks?

Imagine pretending Campbell walked into the same circumstances as any ISU coach before him. Regional powers all down significantly, and better facilities than anyone in ISU's history.

You're anger only confirms you see what his critics see: that he peaked, and it looks like we're going winless this year in conference.

2021 was 60 with a transfer rank of 76.
2022 was 50 with a transfer rank of 111.
2023 is currently 33 with a transfer rank of 91.

2023 currently ranks 7th in the Big 12 but is closer to 9th than 6th. We have only one player in the Top 600.

I would look for our 2023 transfer ranking to fall quite a bit and I think there will be a lot of turnover in/out of the portal this year - especially NIL out.

Some promising kids but we have a long ways to go to say recruiting is "good".

We’ve missed on almost every major target in this year’s class. Purchase and Sadiq hurt

Maybe time for Rocco?
I don’t know why you wouldn’t give him at least a portion of the snaps to see what you got there in extended action. Its clear we don’t have a set long term solution at that position yet. If Rocco is not the answer maybe you need to bring in a transfer to compete with Hunter and hope Kohl can eventually be the guy.

I dont want to alarm anyone but since we beat Okie State a year ago today ISU is 2-8 in the Big 12. That's some Steve Prohm level futility thats starting to develop.

It’s all pretty simple. Manning is VERY predictable in his play calls. We do nothing to mix things up.

Play calls have a consistently low probability of success. How many times do you continue to throw into the flat for -3 to 2 yards without realizing it doesn’t work?

RPO has disappeared from the playbook.

Tight ends are non existent.

Offensive line doesn’t appear to be able to open a hole against anything but really really bad teams.

Special teams bites us again. That fake fg was the easiest thing in the world to see. Either sniff it out or freaking coaches call a time out.

0-9 is staring us rather strongly in the face. If a team scores 15 points they win.
Agree, as soon as OU scored 20 points I knew the game was over.

Brock with a 2.0ypc and Norton 2.5, no wonder we suck so bad. I don't know how we win a game unless those numbers improve.
The biggest recruiting loss of the Campbell era was losing Miyan Williams. There was nothing we could do once Ohio State offered, but this team with him would likely have a couple more wins.

Tell me a fan base in America from high school, college or pros that wouldn’t be beyond frustrated with this year. It’s not like we are losing 50-0 and the team is over matched and outclassed at every level, ISU is in every game and losing by one score excluding today, but is losing due to the details. The guy that preaches details may need to self reflect on his own details as he is losing in the details.

To be fair, that wasn't just pre-season.

There were people crowning him better than Purdy after week 2-3.
Were the int's from Decker in the fourth quarter bad throws or bad communication with receivers? Really horrible, whichever.

Steve Prohm level is 2-22. We already have 3 wins. And Prohm was 0-18 in conference.

Well then I guess we can count on you to call for replacement if we 0-9 in Conf correct?

2-22. 0-18. Prohm level. 0-9 Prohm was still coaching for 9 more consecutive losses.

I give Campbell a mulligan. Campbell resurrected a program from ashes. He built our program. Prohm turned a championship program into ashes. Prohm built nothing.

Would love to know the average yards per play on all the wr screens/passes down the line of scrimmage. but I'm not willing to rewatch it. might be close to 0.
