The 6-foot-3, 220-pound linebacker initially joined the Delaware program back in 2016.

Horne & Davis left because they knew Reeder was coming aboard.
Jorbo and Perry Ellis look out.Pert near 30 year old linebacker!

Bingo. I can't help but think that bringing in 3 freshman LBs and recruiting multiple in the portal may have sent a message that the staff wanted an influx of new talent, anyway? Either that or they saw this coming to some degree.I think it’s more they know what young LB’s we have, and a Covid senior next year. Want to get their turn to start somewhere.
Really would love to see an OT, an experienced WR, or CB.If Vance comes back, it sure looks like we'd be starting Vance, Vaughn and Reeder. Still have some good younger players in Peterson, Zenzen, Jackson, Mendeszoon, Marshall, Ralph and then TRFR Imming, Willich, McLaughlin. That's a lot of experience with the starters and some good young talent behind them. Maybe they grab one more from the portal, but I'd be looking at other positions over LB, because they look pretty good to me.

Definitely a CB. It kind of sounds like Anthony Johnson is moving to Safety. I'm guessing that's what the NFL told him to do...maybe not enough speed to play CB in the NFL and he needs to show he can play Safety. Honestly, that might be a major reason for Isheem Young transferring.
WR...probably. Rumors are Hutchinson is going to be back. I for one think that Gaines is going to start right away or at least play a lot. Noel has M locked up. Then it's probably Shaw. But if they find a burner like the kid from NMSU, that's a good addition.
OT I'd say only if you can find a sure starter. The JUCO kid Neal is going to compete for a spot right away. He's probably a RT and will compete with Remsburg. If you can find someone who is good enough to move Hufford inside, that's a huge addition.
The other spot that I'd say is DE. If McDonald is really coming back, the need isn't as great. I'd guess the MN transfer is going to step right in to Enyi's spot and compete with Blake Peterson. The fact that R Mason Thomas is looking around probably means that they should find someone to spell McDonald. I don't know that Jayden Gray will be ready yet.
