Colby Reeder Commits!

Is Colby Reeder an impact get? (impact player to me would be Jake Hummel or O'Rien level) OR Is he just an experienced player to steady the ship, until some of our younger talent has time to mature?

He is a good get. Delaware has traditionally been a good FCS program. No idea if they were good while he was there

Not confident in Miller and Remsburg? I think the entire oline should be try outs after this year personally just wondering what your thoughts are?
Mostly just think that the competition couldn't hurt and that the OL probably should have been better last year. Not really an expert so maybe not only an OT thing and maybe should have said OL? Just felt like the group on the whole was inconsistent drive to drive and added competition with experience would be great. Not too many guys like that come available, though.

Geesh, loved watching Colby Reeder's highlights. Some thoughts:
- I think he's bigger than Jake Hummel, sure tackler too
- He is a complete menace blitzing the QB, great closing speed up the middle and blitzing outside
- He covers pretty well too and has speed

This lessens the sting of aric horne leaving in a big, big way. A starting trio of Gerry Vaughn in the middle, Colby Reeder on one outside flank, and Cole Pederson or Will McLaughlin at the other outside would be really solid I think. Hunter Zenzen could compete here too.

LB was a big question mark before but I don't think it is right now. This was a huge pickup in my opinion.

I have faith in Remsburg if he is healthy.... I know it wasn't just him but the offense jumped after he became a regular starter. Again, not just due to him but he really helped IMO last season.

Awesome to get Reeder... sucks about Young. That really hurts, even with Johnson coming back. I really do like our young players and young LB's - growing pains, yes, but the potential and ability seems to be there.

Huge if true on Hutchinson. I like our young receivers but getting a veteran hat so to speak to help out a younger QB is absolutely huge.
