What the hell is he talking about?... wait.. don't answer that.. don't care.. This has been pretty embarrassing tonight, and I don't mean the game.. I normally feel good about the players being able to read whats posted on here.. not tonight..
Why can't we be friendsss...why can't we be friendss....i have no problems with Dmacc actually, i just was trying to get that kid to maybe be quiet for a bit. But no, i'm done with it. I think i'm an insomniac now, but i love the show house...who was making the popcorn?
if people have a free friday night and want to watch some good basketball, they really should make a trip to Boone and check out the Women's team that the Bears put on the floor. They play so well.
we need to make sure he puts his defroster on and wait at least 5 minutes before driving
and buy him some gloves. And maybe a real coat, too. I think we should take up a collection to get him one of those ear-flap hats.

I know some of you disagree, but this team needs to hit the weights. it will be more obvious once Big XII starts. I am very disappointed in the progress in that department. In the meantime, the next practice should be run in helmets and shoulder pads ala the Suttons at OSU.
Honestly, things have gotten so bad for me this year with my sports teams I root for, I can't do anything but laugh anymore. We finally get some good news with the football team and then BBall comes out and ***** on our parade. No use getting pissed anymore, might as well laugh.
At least it's not a heart breaking belly flop in the playoffs like the cubs gave us this year. With the Cyclone BB team, we know we're not getting into the post season.

We'll have to agree to disagree here, but IMO our problem is not inexperience. It's coaching and talent and that doesn't get fixed during the season. I'm not hanging my hat on a freshman point guard coming in here and turning this program around. This team has so many problems I don't think two players can turn the tide.
I said a lot of things on this board in frustration last night and I usually hate the meltdowns but this was the worst loss at home in many years. McDermott will get through year four to turn this around and I'll probably still keep making games although I probably won't make the trip up again until conference play starts this year. Calling for his head is useless at this point because I doubt the AD can afford to fire him and every coach deserves more than three years.
I sincerely like the man and I really like the players we have on this team. I don't know them personally but they seem like high character people we can be proud of. However I am embarrassed by the on court production and I'm sure the staff and players are as well. I want to apologize for all of the things I said although I'm not going to go back and delete everything. McDermott's got through next year before he loses me completely but at this point, roughly halfway through year three, there is absolutely NOTHING to hang our hats on during McD's tenure.
