Know that no one is going this year - but i live in KC and make it every year as my only real chance to support ISU locally... it looks like they are selling individual game tickets for Big 12 tournament this year instead of sessions (covid related)?
I know we are locked into 10 seed - but does anyone know if that is the 530 Wednesday game or the 830?

Being a Christian doesnt matter, using it as a reason to hire someone does. Mad Fran is in the top 15 [checks notes] Steve Prohm is not.
I did my grad school at IU Bloomington as well! I agree with everything you said. In fact, I think IU would be the job Stevens wants if he indeed does return to the college game. The timing may be right for that to happen. I honestly think that is the only name that IU would eat Miller's buyout for.
Now, what name out there is enticing enough that Pollard would eat Prohm's $5'ish Million for? It has to be a name that will create excitement / donations to help offset the cost. None of the names mentioned (IMO) move that needle, unless you are brining in Matta or maybe Beilein
Do ISU fans need a big name to get excited? It's been proven before that all they need are signs of hope and progress, and they respond in droves.

No. Do i wish we were in the Top 15? Yes. Are you cool with getting last every year as long as our coach doesnt get a T a couple times a year?

Mad Fran is in the top 15 however they don’t have too far off of records for their tenures. I would argue as well that after this year mad Fran is going to have a huge regression. Would you still want him as your coach?
It doesnt, but one of the MAIN reasons Pollard hired Prohm was because he was a Christian and they go to the same Church. How/Where/Who should not matter when hiring. Especially at a Public institution making millions a year.
I would rather tase my own nutsack than have Fran as coach.

Yes, the records are close, but Prohm took over a top 10 team and turned it into the worst team in the HISTORY of the school.
Look, i hate Iowa and Fran, but using him as the "but look, he is worse!" Comparison as he is about to be a 3 seed and we cant run a functional offense is insane.
I don't want Fran within 50 miles of the Sukup Basketball Facility's head coach's office, but man, that meltdown in eastern Iowa would be hilarious if that happened.
