I honestly don’t even care that much about the gameplay as long as the dynasty mode is legit. Something about recruiting and building a program over time was so fun in the old college video games. Now if 2k can bring the basketball version back all will be good in life.

Yep. For PR reasons at minimum, this would be a perfect opportunity for the NCAA and EA to include players into the rights contract and get the players money. Coming from the NCAA/EA is absolutely easier and cleaner than coming from the individual schools. Then, if you're trying it to a football game, I'd imagine it would also avoid lawsuits about paying all athletes vs football players.

My guess is that they’ll have the Madden engine ready for when the anti-trust stuff gets hashed out. 2-3 years seems like a fair timeline to update all the game assets and bring 100+ Stadiums and Uniforms into next-next Gen (considering PS4 and Xbox One got skipped over).

How long would it take to just put NCAA '14 onto the PS4/5? Cause I'd be fine paying for that if they could have that done by fall. Then come out with a full blown new one in 2-3 years.

If they came out with NCAA for the last-gen consoles I would imagine porting it to current-gen would have been a lot easier. Getting a PS3 game to emulate on a PS4 or 5 would be much tougher, the PS3 used completely different archicture than the PC-lites that modern consoles are designed to be.

In real life I'm pretty high on Dekkers, but I can't be trying to play with a QB of a speed rating below 65 out there...

I'll make Kyle Kempt in one of the recruiting classes. He'll be 40's across the board, except for 99 throw accuracy and awareness (and probably a moderated carrying so he's not fumbling all the time). He'll win four national championships. It will be glorious.

If it is like current Madden, send your TEs out over the middle every play and you win by default. Absolutely busted.

Nice!! Haven't played this since NCAA 12 when built my team and finally won a Big 12 championship in year 4. I was pumped to finally make NY6 bowl game until I found out my opponent was Navy, somehow they went 12-0 so the AI thought they should play me in thr Fiesta Bowl.

except for the backwards compatibility of games with the current PS4/Xbox One should make it pretty easy. should be a pretty easy port to get the game out for the current consoles as a hold over.

Late 90's/Early 00's: I used to simulate the games/season and just do the recruiting and build a powerhouse. I usually used Iowa State of course but sometimes used teams like North Texas or East Carolina.

North Texas was always the darling for that. Being in Texas, it seemed like even computer controlled it would eventually grow into a powerhouse because of the Texas recruiting.

hopefully ISU doesn't have a built in bias against it this go around. seriously my dynasty team is nothing but high ranking recruits and computer sim'd will struggle vs the FCS midwest/east/Kansas teams still..

I am sure it will be a crappy Madden reskin to start out, but I hope I'm wrong. I've been having a ton of fun with CFB Revamped so if all else fails I'll stick with that

If you have a PS3 and are okay with the concept of modding (it's a softmod not a mod chip) you can get up and running pretty easily. I'm loving it and very curious what all they will have in store. I love playing with the new rosters, fields, menus, score ticker and uniforms!
