I want them to modify their business model on this. Make the game a longer term more expensive game and sell DLC for updated rosters. They won’t but I think that’s a more sustainable business model.

If it's anything like Madden and Fifa now I'm not sure how good it will be.

Late 90's/Early 00's: I used to simulate the games/season and just do the recruiting and build a powerhouse. I usually used Iowa State of course but sometimes used teams like North Texas or East Carolina.

Gamebreakers in the early 2000’s with Nebraksa was the best. Option non stop.

I was all on board until someone brought up the whole Ultimate Team aspect. I haven’t bought an EA Sports game since NCAA ‘14, so much has changed since then. We can’t even bank on 2K making a worthy competitor because I’m sure they’d probably **** it up too with the micro transactions.

I am sure it will be a crappy Madden reskin to start out, but I hope I'm wrong. I've been having a ton of fun with CFB Revamped so if all else fails I'll stick with that

it's the same team who did '14, hopefully they just update that game with new graphics and fix the bugs in it, I would be happy with that.

This actually makes me more excited, makes it sound like they’re building a platform to use for years.

We’ll see though, EA is pretty good at blowing stuff like this.

After while, every player figures out the holes in the games AI. Even NCAA games had issues when Four Verticals and Read Options were super OP.

My guess is that they’ll have the Madden engine ready for when the anti-trust stuff gets hashed out. 2-3 years seems like a fair timeline to update all the game assets and bring 100+ Stadiums and Uniforms into next-next Gen (considering PS4 and Xbox One got skipped over).
