No idea whether it was a good play call or not. Our G got completely blown up and it destroyed the play. No play will be successful when a lineman blows a play that badly.

I'm going with a related hot take: It can be a good call and not work out.

I do like the call. It's a sliding QB. No reason to even touch him.

He started his launch when Purdy started his slide. Might have been able to pull up some, but I don't know how he avoids him completely. Again, yes it was a late hit, but I don't see how that justifies getting tossed.
