OU vs WVU cancelled - officially

Look, I know this isn't how these things are figured out, but this cements the fact that I will forever consider us the regular season champions. We had the best record, played the most games, beat the 2nd place team, etc.

The winner of the game will obviously be the official champion, but we will be the true champion.

That's not the point. We were able to finish our games and should have gotten a week off when Oklahoma had COVID and therefore should have had to play this week.

Honestly WV was going to be a tune up game for OU. Now they don’t get that opportunity to work on things. We have plenty of tape on them.

They are much more dangerous now, playing them late, having had a lot of time to work the kinks out.

That being said, we've found a previously undiscovered gear this November. I thought we handled them well last time in Ames, even though I do not think we particularly played well or cleanly.

This is going to be a great game. Excited to be there, but man, I want that 'chip.

Let's make this unquestionably the greatest year in program history.

As I see it, WVU had tested negative when they played us so there shouldn't be any contact tracing involving us.

I was hoping the Big 12 would manage to be the only conference to get 100% of their games in this season. We still have to have the highest percentage of completed games, but I was really hoping we would get to 100%, just as a point of pride.
