OU vs WVU cancelled - officially

Why does the OP say OU, then? Was the early reporting messed up?

Not sure. Everything I’ve read says it’s West Virginia. Oklahoma had covid the last time they were supposed to play.

As reported in our earlier article “West Virginia Oklahoma Game in Jeopardy”, data released today from the University of Oklahoma revealed that the University of Oklahoma had 16 positive tests and 24 active cases among student-athletes.

Saw this on a FB post from a WVU site. The article was talking about WVU playing Marshal
@jsb , this is what I'm talking about.
Seems like the OP should come back and correct this!

It sounds like Baylor Oklahoma state may be off.

The Big 12 "championship game" is a sham to begin with.

With it's round robin schedule, the Big 12's true champion is determined by the NINETY regular season conference games, not the final exhibition game that was created for two reasons, to satisfy the hypocritical selection committee that says the Big 12 "needs another data point", and to make even more money.
Only WV plays with themselves...lol
5 games each week
9 weeks
45 games.

None of the 3 idiots on the Morning Rush on KXNO knew this as of just a bit ago on their show. The last post in here was over 13 hours ago. Unreal.

It depends if we still have some to give them. If we still have games, not much. If we just have an ESPN+ opening it shouldn’t be much of a hit.

That was the information that I had when I started the thread. It was from a WVU fan site, and the article has been removed since then, but it was reporting 24 cases at OU, so either there is some stuff going on at OU also, or the writer was FOS.
