Just watched Beloit men's team play and lose in 4OT. Lost on a super lucky mid range buzzer beater. There was also this heckler for the other team that would not stop ******** about the fouls, we only had 6 fouls for the last 30 minutes of the game, so the other team was never in the bonus.

Here's the kicker, the heckler was the dad of the kid who hit the game winning shot.

I think my holiday baking is done for a bit. This was for teacher/neighbor treats, keeping for Christmas for us, donating for the high school staff meal, and made for a friend:
6 dozen sugar cookies (not frosted)
3 pans of cracker toffee
1 pan peppermint bark
Ginger cookies
Caramel chocolate cookies
Dark chocolate peppermint mocha cookies
Buckeyes
2 pans caramel rice crispy treats
3 dozen chocolate peppermint cupcakes
2 dozen mini peanut butter pies
5 dozen ginger cookie cups with eggnog filling
2 batches cinnamon pretzels
And one large batch Chex mix (family recipe, not your traditional Chex mix)

Need a quality control manager?

A coworker and I keep going back and forth changing the wallpapers on our desk phones to ISU and Iowa accordingly. The war is on.

Not exactly sure.
Tried my best birdy tonight. Daughter and I made some easy Christmas cookie type treats. 11 dozen. Wife got a batch started and her bad math almost had us making 16-20 dozen more. I was able to throw the brakes on the operation to limit it to 11.

Just saw an email pop that the wife ordered a very nice gift package sent to her sister. I thought they had stopped buying for each other, guess not.

My 20 year old nephew and 19 year old son wanted to know if they got into the kid’s Christmas drawing this year, they were given one more year. My family is definitely different than the wife’s. We are about time together, they are possessions. Makes it interesting when gifts are opened.

I've been pushing for drawing names for the kids on Mrs. Velo's side of the family. They will range in age from 17 to 11 next year and I think it is about time that they aren't getting something from everyone. We'll see how that conversation goes when we bring it up this year. Oh, for the record they buy for every adult as well. I would hope it would go without saying that that should stop.

My dads side buys for the kids in high school and younger, grandparents, and grandma gets everyone something small (candy, scratch tickets, maybe one other thing), but thats it. Totally fine with everyone.
