I'm posting between naps. Picked up some bacterial thing in my lungs/bronchi and haven't slept much the past two nights. I have good drugs and industrial strength cough medicine now - hopefully I'll be back to whatever passes for normal before we leave on Monday. Cross your fingers for me. :D

Is that any different than normal?

A little bit...
I "slept" from 3.45 to 7.30 last night (frequent bouts of coughing punctuating my "rest". So now I'm watching Criminal minds from my recliner and drifting in & out. Still can't lay flat without coughing. :(

Room, board and tuition at ISU was $490 a quarter when I started. So, $1500 a year. :D

$490 is close to what my monthly student payments were spread out over 10 years.

Um... I wouldn't be sleeping because of the Criminal Minds.

Hope you start feeling better soon!

Ok, just noticed an alert from birdy. @Cybirdy how was that trip to the most magical place on earth?

It went pretty well. We were at the parks from before opening to final fireworks every night, so jammed a lot in. Had one who spent most of the time with a stomach bug so that was fun. Then by the time we left it turned into a fever so flew home sick, too. Rode rides, met princesses, ate not enough food to use up all our dining credits.

We didn’t do the dining plan. I had heard enough people say that and we wanted to go downtown a few times.

Hopefully everybody is getting better.

I can’t remember the exact breakdown of pricing per meal, but we did a couple character buffets that our bill was close to $400 (included alcoholic drink) but the balance was zero because of the meal plan that we had already paid for. With the meal plan we still had to pay 18% gratuity on every sit down meal because we were a party of 6.

So you got buzzed with the princesses? I didn’t know that was on option. Doing body shots with Snow White seems like an interesting part I never heard of.

My sister had strep throat while we were both home on spring break so now I've been paranoid that I'm going to get it. This afternoon I thought maybe I was starting to get a sore throat but I can't really tell. I think it sounds like a good idea to drink some preventative whiskey on a Monday.

Kinda depends on the drink...

I went to a band at a local place a few years ago. Dude serving knew me and was blitzed. Using those large red solo cups, he filled with whiskey to about an inch from the top and then splashed the coke in. There was a line at the other end of the bar of his customers buying pop and trying to blend down his drinks. I was feeling rough from that one drink at the end.
