Besides the NCAA tournament today is also our chili contest at work so that reduces productivity even more. It's not like the old days when we had more people. We used to get over 20 entries. This year it looks like 10.
I'm happy with the flavor of mine but the flat irons I chose to smoke were a bit too lean. They taste great but not as tender as they usually get. Hopefully a few more hours simmering will accomplish that.

I'm drinking literally a gallon (maybe even more) per day of that stuff. I can't go 30-40 minutes without running to the restroom. Now I know why some women told me stones were worse than childbirth. At least with kids, its over in a day. This crap hangs around for many.

I meant juice boxes instead of my iced tea because apparently iced tea promotes kidney stones. ER folks kept talking about too much milk, I kept telling them that I'm Lactose intolerant and haven't drank any milk in over 10 years.

While I'm not generally a deep thinker, the pain meds and lack of sleep keeps me from wanting to decipher even the easiest math and science problems. Now excuse me while I run to the bathroom, it's been 20 minutes since I was there last.

One year we had a guy bring a vat of chili in that was about that size. He had loaded it up with ghost chili pepper powder. It almost burned your throat if you breathed in too close to it and it tasted awful. Just really really really hot.

Went to the eye Dr yesterday and said hi to AIRBNG or whatever his name was. Basically he said he came here for the mafia and the rest of us were just an after thought. That did a lot for my self confidence.
