Yes, let's bring back Greg McDermott if you think Prohm is so awful, you bunch of ******* ******** couch coaches.

Again, your imagination. Or maybe they didnt post because people like you sit around and jerk each other off going after those same people who posted reasonable criticisms after every win.
Id argue we've taken a step down
By big 12 tournament seed order,
Hoiberg's last 4 years were 3, 5, 4, 2
Prohm's: 6, 4, 10, 5 (i'm thinking we'll tie with baylor and lose that tiebreaker due to being swept)
Even excluding last year, we're a tick down in this metric, going from averaging a 3-4 seed to averaging a 5 seed.
Names were asked for, in this thread. That's why people were putting them out there.
So i guess criticism can't happen as long as we're one of the best 40-50 teams in the country?
Just making the tournament is not and should not be the measure of success.
Ok, David Hobbs- I’ve been wondering who the hell the old guy on the bench was. Somehow I totally missed him. Seems like the other assistants get mentioned all the time and I’ve never heard his name before.
I’m assuming that’s cause he doesn’t recruit?
The Big 12 seed argument is stupid. So if we happen to finish tied for second but get the 5th seed you’re going with a down tick? That’s hilariously stupid.
He's not wrong. Failing to win the league is fine, but to fall out of the race the way we have is inexcusable. Two weeks ago we were a game back with the easiest remaining schedule. The computers had us as the favorites. Plenty of analysts were describing us as the most talented team in the league. We have one of the best home courts in the country. This wasn't just the opinion of kool aid chugging Clone fans, this was a lot of experts and media around the country.
To come up a game or two short losing to KSU or TT would have been just fine. Having KSU or KU get hot and win out to beat us would be fine. But getting swept by a struggling TCU and beat by a short handed BU, two of those at home, is inexcusable.
This looks on paper like our best window for several years, and we aren't even going to be a factor. We will lose Marial, Babb, Talley, and likely Wigs next year and I am not that impressed with next years recruiting class.
We look like program that can make a tourney more often then not, but I agree that I don't see any signs that we are building to anything bigger than that. Some fans may be content with that, but I think the ceiling is higher at ISU. Just look at what is happening across the parking lot with football.
Boy am I glad I've taken a step back from this site for the past few weeks..
You guys are talking about a coaching change in a season where we will likely finish with the best KenPom rating we've ever had. Lol, what a bunch of morons.
Get some perspective.
He had the perfect opportunity this year. Kansas is down and ISU had more talent than anybody else in the league. Instead of capitalizing, his team just completely implodes with inexcusable home losses and uninspired efforts against sub 500 teams. If he cant do it this year, I don't see how he is ever going to. I don't think he is building anything here. Just stuck on mediocrity.
A resume is based on where things started.
Prohm started in probably the best position of any coach in Ames ever. The standard was raised. His job is to maintain and improve.
I’m not even concerned about your list, I offered my opinions on the only red flags on it. It’s pointless because when the time comes it will be T.J.’s job, and everyone will be happy.
I would caution to see if stays another year there after Daum graduates. He walked into a great situation, and now it will be his time to leave.
It’s so stupid funny and sad that people won’t even admit to what they’re saying.
Every post is critical of the coach, pointing out flaws, and diminishing accomplishments.
But then they say, hey I’m not saying he should be fired. I just wasted minutes and hours of my life talking about how he’s bad, and we should be so much better, but he should keep his job.
Well, if he is so bad, then why do you want him to remain the coach?
