That just sucks.
They have plenty of sections of micro and macro in big lecture halls at ISU.
Next time he cancels, you could probably look one up on the schedule of courses, show up without anyone noticing, and see how far behind you are.
One of sons took micro in high school on a dual enrollment with Indian Hills CC and had an idiot teacher. He learned his micro by looking up Khan Academy videos online.
No doubt. Nobody would notice.
If one TA doesn't recognize him, they'll just assume he's someone else's and move along, assuming they move around or sit in different places (or even attend the lecture, since every class is run differently).
