During college, I knew two things about Cambridge.
1. It had that sleazy strip bar.
2. I played intramural basketball with a guy from Cambridge that was super nice, super quiet, super polite and super religious.
They don't exactly belong together.
Also, I think the guy I played basketball with had the same last name as KC.
Little better twist, knowing he's a pators son. SC got his license to marry people and was working a service, bride came to him because of cold feet and instead of calming her down and telling her she was nervous; her took off with her to Vegas and got they got married by Elvis.
There's at least two of us up hear that enforce a little work ethic and take their kids away from Fortnite for a little while.
Our girls have chores. Even yesterday the 12yr old was like, "if I get my chores done can I go to a friend's house?" The answer was unfortunately no since we were not going anywhere yesterday, even if it was just a few blocks away.
The 14yr old can't "date" per say, but can go out with groups of friends. One night some kids from band were going to go bowling. We ask her if she is ready to go and she says, "It was called off, S is grounded." Made us wonder what this senior girl did to get grounded.

There is growing evidence that I am not the only parent of high school kids that has them do chores! Whiny little *******.
Random thought while shoveling and again this morning after seeing how many crashes happened yesterday and that 7 people lost their lives including two kids. I am by no means saying we shut everything down every time it snows but would it really hurt for EVERYONE to just have a snow day every now and then? It is 2017 after all and without much effort most people can work from pretty much everywhere. That being said this is America so "Thou must work at all costs. World will stop if I don't".
So she's into polyandery ? Son, that 'ain't legal in these here parts.
Except not the REAL Elvis. He's living in a condo in Central America with Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Jimmy Hoffa, Amelia Earhardt, and Hitler. DUH!
And as BCC may recall, the REAL Elvis did live for a time in Birch Hall.

We used to have a board for household chores. Would fill it out for who does it for that week and such. Biggest problem is my wife is a clean freak. If its not done on her timeline, which is immediatley, she gets upset and does it. I had told her to wait for them to do them, but she says she can't live like that (like two dishes on the counter for 15 minutes or something like that). So I find various things that I get them to do. Oldest is helping at the farm and has a job working for a larger hog farmer in the area that he will go back to when released from his injury. Will need to help the daughter find something for herself, wife got her a job with the wife of one of my relatives last summer that I cringed when she told me knowing it wouldn't work well then, so that bridge is burnt. Softball is brutal for jobs.
I remember seeing a tabloid headline that Elvis was living in Kalamazoo, Michigan and working at a lumber mill. I hope Hitler's not living in Michigan.
I like the javelin thrower with the limp-wristed throwing style better.
As a follow up--where exactly would you be comfortable with Hitler living?
I remember Jimi Hendrix but not Elvis. Think that was before my time, unless Vaughn dressed up like Elvis. One dude I still remember.
BTW, I don't remember drinking that much. You have me confused with someone else a little I think.
